A baking flutist?

Who'd have thought a conservatory education would gear a person for baking, but it provided the perfect set of circumstances. Music is a stressful industry, and everyone looks for some form of escape to relax. For me, that escape was baking. Completely self-taught, I've learned quite a few tricks of the trade, you can say, and have since taken on some very difficult projects. The New England Conservatory is also famous for its daily concerts that are almost all FREE! As such, there are many receptions and celebrations. These have provided the perfect opportunity for me to experiment with new recipes. The next several posts will consist of my favorite creations, hopefully to soon be followed by newer ones!
